Yellow snow might be yummy...
When is the last time any of us have had snow cream? For many North-Georgians, I am guessing it's been awhile. So, now is the time to take advantage!
Use good clean snow. After you have a dusting, get ready to harvest your snow. Better to collect while it's falling. Then add sugar,vanilla extract, milk... measurement is not a science I use for this. It is kind of a "eye ball it" and a "to taste" type thing. Therefore, you decide your own consistency and sweetness.
This will give it a yellow hue...

So this is christmas....?
Well, gone are all the duties that come with the holiday season. That is for the vast majority of christmas celebrators that work themselves into a tizzy. Luckily, I am not one of those fools.... I mean folks.
We got to enjoy a couple of long weekends with our sweet boy. It made it hard to back and face a full work week today. But, so is life. I am glad i actually have a wonderful job to go back to.

I can't wait for Santa to show up! I hope Jacob has as much fun with the toys as Santa had shopping for them!
He fears no veggie!
Growing up I preferred ice cream and nachos to veggies and fruit.
Today, not much has changed from when I was a kid. Most toddlers are totally into mashed potatoes, mac-n-cheese and any food from the golden arches.
My son is one of those kids that actually eats their veggies. This afternoon for lunch I made him a salad with baby spinich leaves, tomatoes,carrots, green peppers topped, with vidalia onion vinaigrette. Edamamae on the side with cubes of colby-jack cheese.
Now that's a good lunch!

Lackluster
That is how I would describe the relationship between myself and my husband. We love each other, but recently, it seems that we don’t like one another very much. We have nothing other than our son to talk about. We are both very sensitive to each others remarks. We are defensive and unable to communicate effectively.
We have discussed our “problem”. However, we are unable to hammer out anything since we have the whole communicating issue. It is like a catch 22.
I enjoy his company most of the time. It breaks my hear that we have managed to stay married for almost 11 years, but we have nothing to say to each other. Why? I don’t get it. Are we bored? Yes, maybe. Are we tired… yes, but I don’t think it is of each other. We are just drained when it is time for “us” time. So we put it off and on the back burner. Now we are almost like room mates, who on occasion share a dinner and a family outing with the little guy.
I feel stuck. I feel lonely. I know that he also feels this way. The question is what to do about it?"

You Can't Catch Me... (today anyways)
Looking forward to moving on with my life. The last year has been rough. I have been plagued with bouts of depression. I think that I might have found the last year more enjoyable if I had not been suffering so.
Hopefully I can evade those demons that are always nipping at my heels. At least for a while now that I am on the right meds. Yep, back to effexor. But, hey, whatever works... right?

Today I am thankful.
Thankful for my son and my sweet husband. I am aslo thankful for our MotMot.
The weekend is coming up. We plan to go to the river walk if weather isn't too bad.
